As a full-time mom, I make sure not to take myself for granted. Especially that I am a mom, it doesn’t mean that I have no rights to do skincare and makeup.

During the pandemic, I had a lot of free time so I researched basic skincare to take better care of myself and my family.

I discovered that I don’t have to spend money to be beautiful.

Below is a to-do list that will help you to finally have that glow you are missing all this time.

Our eyes seem to be the center of our face. Whenever we meet someone, we look right into their eyes and from there, we can say if someone is attractive or charming.

A reason for dark circles is obviously the state of being restless. However, it’s almost nonsensical if we will sleep right away just to make up for the interrupted sleep we had.

The goal is not getting enough sleep, but to get good quality sleep on a regular schedule so we feel rested when we wake up.

Doctors always tell us to get an 8-hour sleep. And if we’re getting fewer than 6 hours, it’s likely affecting our appearance, says Michael Breus, Ph.D., a board-certified sleep specialist.

Hydration does not end in simply drinking the right amount of water, but literally applying it on the skin itself.

A daily bath is not enough because once we leave the bathroom, all that water on our skin evaporates along with our skin’s natural oils.

Hydrating moisturizer application is as crucial as drinking enough water for our overall skin health.

Diet does not only refer to “eating small amounts.” It means, following the right food for your body.

“I tell my patients that what they put in their mouths is as important as the products they apply on their skin,” says Dr. Jessica Wu, a dermatologist, and creator of Dr. Jessica Wu Skincare who has also written her own guide to eat for beauty, Feed Your Face.

Jessica Crescenzi, the founder of Beauty Guru NYC, agrees: “Many clients and friends come to me and say, ‘I’m doing my skincare ritual every morning and evening, but I’m still breaking out.’ My first question to them is ‘How’s your diet?’

The bottom line is that whatever’s going on inside your gut will eventually show in your skin.”

There are varieties of food groups that help you nurture your skin.

Being fit isn’t the only benefit you get when you exercise. Exercise boosts our body circulation.

Immediate benefits of circulation includes healthy vibrant glow that we will notice once we complete a session.

Also, exercise lowers levels of stress hormones and raises levels of endorphins (a.k.a. the “feel-good hormone”), which may be why we feel so relaxed and optimistic after a workout.

Some of us today eat-out whenever we feel like, lays or sits down whenever we feel like, even sleeps whenever we feel like, and that’s because of the COVID19.

We’re in an abrupt transition from having a mixed indoor and outdoor routine to a full indoor life.

We seemed lost, hence our too much time on social media platforms having less time paying attention to how we actually look nowadays.

In a study published in June 2018 in the Lancet Psychiatry, researchers found that people who have less consistent routines throughout the active parts of their day were more likely to suffer from major depressive and bipolar disorders, mood problems, loneliness, and less happiness. T

hose routines are critical for your overall health, in both body and mind.

It is vital then to our daily lives to put up a program that suits us and help accomplish the things that will help improve ourselves.

A routine that will enable us to get a regularly scheduled sleep, hydrate/do our skincare routine, prepare the right food our body needs in a week, and a routine that will get us moving so we could feel our hearts beat fast — reminding us that we are still alive despite all the things that are happening in the world.
